This Sandcar has every option that you can possibly add to a build at Tatum. Smooth, powerful, and comfy…the top of the food chain. To build a car this fast special things had to be done under its skin. Tatum said “with this much power, we will build the fuel tank into the front nose to add the weight needed to keep the front end controllable under full boost.” Now this option opened up the entire width of the car behind the front seats so a massive intercooler was built that stretches all the way across the car to keep the air charge nice and cool. Only 3 were ever built this way! Rich Ronco designed these special Tatum’s to pull air from the bottom of the car to keep everything super cool. A regular TRX2 does not have any of this customization. Then I paid an additional $7000 to “one off” create XL side air scoops like an Adventador. It’s beautiful in real life. This is a no budget build to make it the perfect Sandcar. I the original owner and this car has sat in storage half it’s life.
1400 HP RHS 454 Twin turbo with the best of the best. Billet 1 piece crank, Daley 5 stage dry sump, 3 gallon oil tank, Billet Alternator, all chrome motor, setup and tuned by Redline. Tilton 4 disc clutch. Everything controlled by Motec PDM. $5k upgrade-No relays. Zero problems. $20,000 Motec M130 and mil spec wiring.
