Selling my 1977 Ford Bronco. It’s been my daily driver for the past 2 months. Runs like a dream, sounds incredible, always garaged, no rust, clean title, matching VINs throughout, and no problems whatsoever. If you’re looking for a turnkey Bronco with no immediate needs, but still has some opportunity to make it your own, this checks all the boxes. I’ve been building this thinking it would be my forever car, but we’re expecting a baby so I need to make room and free up some funds. I’m hoping to find someone who can enjoy it as much as I did. About the car: I purchased this Bronco from a private seller who began building it with his son, but they lost interest and sold it to me. It came with the original 302 motor, upgraded to power brakes, automatic transmission, electric fan, and a few other upgrades to the motor. Since taking ownership, I’ve done most of the bolt-on, cosmetic upgrades. The Bronco was essentially stripped down, all parts removed, and any part that needed replacing was replaced with a new part from Wild Horses or Tom’s Broncos. You won’t find a nut or bolt on this Bronco that needs to be replaced. Previous owner registered it as a ’75 so no SMOG is needed, all VINs match. I just registered it in January and had no problem. It was professionally painted by Beyond the Details Painting. This consisted of taking the car down to metal, corrected with minor body work, primed with epoxy primer to protect from future rust, primed with primer/sealant, then topped with multiple layers of base. Over $5k invested in premium, high quality paint alone (all R-M Brand). It was finished with a full cut and buff to get it to show quality shine. Color is Porsche Graphite Blue Metallic (more of a blue/gray color in person). It was then taken to D&T Automotive, a shop here in Santa Monica that specializes in early Ford Broncos, to perform all necessary mechanical/engine work. It was recently serviced this month: tuned, oil changed, fluids topped off, all seals/gaskets checked, alignment, brakes checked, etc. I’ve documented the build in detail, available on Instagram @bdbroncos_bd23. See below for a complete list of upgrades to the car. Mechanical Upgrades (all work done at D&T Automotive) – New Edelbrock carburetor – New complete Flowmaster exhaust system (headers, mufflers, pipes, etc.) – New steering column and driveshaft – New Blisten suspension – New emergency brake, completely rebuilt – New battery – New spark plugs Exterior Upgrades: – New Pro Comp wheels and BF Goodrich tires – New LED halo headlights – New LED exterior lights (brake lights, blinkers, side markers, reverse, license plate, etc.) – New color-matched fenders – New door handles throughout (driver, passenger, rear latch) – New side mirrors – New bumpers, front and rear – New Rampage soft top. Also comes with Rampage Bikini top if you want to go topless – New “Ford” grill and “Bronco” side emblems – New battery tender (wired to battery) Interior Upgrades: – New carpet installed throughout entire car including a layer of sound dampener and carpet padding – New painted roll cage – Painted color-matched dash complete with all new instrument knobs – New wood steering wheel – New stereo system: Alpine headunit, 4 Alpine Type R 6” speakers, Alpine amp, Kicker subwoofer, custom boxes for all speakers, all wired with premium wiring and install kits (wires hidden under carpet) – New premium leather seat set – New seatbelts (front and rear) – New complete door setup including panels, handles, armrests, window cranks, etc. – New Tuffy security center console – New glovebox – New gas/brake pedals – I’m sure I’m missing more, but nearly every part of this Bronco has been replaced with a new part. Also comes with a box of extra and original parts Projects that still need to be completed: – Wipers: I have all the original working parts, along with some upgraded parts, I just never drive it in the rain so didn’t need to install them. – Heater: Only drive on the weekend and in good weather, so never needed it so I haven’t wired it yet – Steering column connects: I haven’t had the time to hook up the steering column to the corresponding parts (horn, hazard, signals) Price is set at $100,000, OBO, cash only. I am not in a hurry to sell, I don’t need help selling, and I am not open to trades. I’ve done the research on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Bring a Trailer, etc, and I know what this is worth. Please, no low ball offers. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a showing, please reply to this listing and I will get back to you. If ad is still up, Bronco is still available. Thanks for looking.
